We do not provide a public video stream. We would like to see you in person on sunday. For members who are sick you may talk to an elder to receive a private link to our stream.
The easiest way to get to our church is from Lexington Avenue. Turn east onto Como Avenue. The road curves, and the first thing you’ll see ahead on the north side of the street is Twin Cities German Immersion School (TCGIS.) We are across the street on the south side, at the corner of Como and Oxford.
Parking is available in the lot behind our church building, in teh TCGIS lot across the street, or on the street. If you ride your bike, you may bring it inside with you.
Our front entrance on Como Avenue is stair-free. A lift provides access to the sanctuary, lower levels, and an accessible restroom.
Please wear what makes you comfortable. You’ll find some of us in jeans, others in suit and tie. Business casual is the average.
We always welcome little ones in our worship services. If you would like a quiet place for children, there is a cry room at the back of the sanctuary, and a nursery in the upstairs of the education building. The service can be listened to in either place. Please check with the greeter if you would like to drop your child off at the nursery for the service – we have volunteers ready who would love to help.
[Scheduled to resume in September 2021] Sunday School meets at 9:00 AM. Children’s Sunday School begins with an assembly in the upstairs Fireside Room before breaking into age group classes. Our adult class meets in the fellowship hall in the lower level.
The Lord’s Table is open to those who profess faith in Christ and are members in good standing of a Bible-believing church. We celebrate the Lord’s Supper each week in the morning service. If you have questions about participating, please speak to an elder or the pastor prior to the service. We offer both wine and grape juice, and have gluten-free bread available.
We have a fellowship meal after the morning service on the first Sunday of the month. There is always plenty of food to share. Please note: For the summer of 2021 (June, July, and August), the fellowship meal will take place on the second Sunday rather than the first.
We love to sing! We use the Trinity Psalter Hymnal and the Trinity Hymnal. Our accompaniment is usually piano, sometimes organ, and in special moments we may sing a capella.
Our service follows a dialogical pattern – a conversation with God – that draws us into God’s presence through confession, forgiveness, teaching of the Word, and thanksgiving.
You are welcome to bring your Bible with you, whether it’s paper or electronic. We also have Bibles (ESV) in every pew.
